Intense...

So a few weeks ago I was messing around and practicing with lighting. I really had no idea what I was doing but eventually came out with something I thought was not too shabby. This is the original.

I like to edit some of my photos because one: I feel it is a part of photography and two: it is fun! So here is the edited version that I posted on my social network profiles; it got a good response.

The positive response on this photo really makes me want to experiment with lighting some more.

Rainy Refreshment

It was wet and rainy a week or so or ago and it gave me inspiration to take a photo of something...anything. So I was sitting in my car in the driveway and took a photo of a tree in our yard out of the rain spotted window. I didn't think it was anything special but posted it to Facebook anyway. A few people told me it was "blog worthy" so here I am "blogging" the photo haha. It hardly rains here so when it does I feel refreshed and inspired.

Blogger Beginnings

I have always wanted to start a blog but I never knew what I wanted it to be about. I have taken a strong interest in Film and Photography over the past few years and have finally decided to post my "work" online and share it with the world! I am definitely a beginner at "creative photo taking" (I refuse to call myself a photographer yet!) Haha... I know I have a lot to learn and that is exactly why I started this blog. I hope you join me as I stride to grow in my photo and video skills. 

*Side-note: Yes I realize my watermark says Photography after I just explained that I don't consider myself a photographer yet...Hehe
